Nevaris

Nemetschek's construction software suite for tendering, estimating, billing and ERP in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

01

Overview

Nevaris is a construction software suite from the Nemetschek Group that combines NEVARIS Build for tendering, estimating, billing and cost control with NEVARIS Finance, a construction ERP for accounting, materials and payroll, aimed at contractors and planners in the DACH region.

Best for: Mid-size and large construction companies, civil engineering contractors and planners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that need GAEB/ÖNORM-compliant tendering, estimating and construction ERP.

What Nevaris does

NEVARIS Build covers the technical side of a construction job, from bills of quantities and tendering (AVA) through estimating and billing. Estimators prepare bid, contract and working calculations with different surcharge models, manage equipment and resources centrally, and import or export bills of quantities in certified GAEB and ÖNORM formats or Excel. Subcontractor tenders are compiled from the bill of quantities, bids are compared position by position, and eco-analyses and CO2 balances draw on ÖKOBAUDAT or baubook values. On the billing side, quantity surveys are recorded digitally through to the final invoice, change orders are tracked, a digital site diary logs weather and incidents, and XRechnung e-invoices can be created and checked. A BIM module derives quantities and costs from IFC models, and NEVARIS Build received a buildingSMART BIM Champion award in 2026.

NEVARIS Finance is an extension of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and handles financial accounting with down-payment and fixed-asset accounting, construction cost accounting, equipment management, purchasing and warehouse management, and German construction payroll (Baulohn) with certified reporting to social security bodies and SOKA-BAU. The suite connects to DATEV, 123erfasst for mobile time and site recording, Bluebeam Revu, DocuWare and JobRouter, text and price libraries such as STLB-Bau, Sirados and DBD, and a REST API. The 2026.1 releases added early BIM-based cost estimation, easier merging of bills of quantities, BMD warehouse integration and SEPA instant transfers in Finance, and version 2026.2 adds AI assistance for recurring search, comparison and review tasks in estimating. Build runs as a Windows application installed locally, while Finance runs in the Business Central cloud.

NEVARIS Bausoftware GmbH is a Nemetschek Group company headquartered in Bremen, Germany, with nine offices across Germany, Austria and Switzerland and more than 250 employees. It reports over 6,000 customers, mainly mid-size and large construction companies, and also sells legacy products such as Success X and Bau für Windows; since 2024 it handles direct sales of Bluebeam in the DACH region, and Ruth Schiffmann has led the company since 2022. Software is licensed as a scalable subscription by package and number of users, with implementation quoted per project, and no prices are published.
