What Buildern does
Buildern focuses on the money side of residential building. Preconstruction tools include on-screen takeoff, estimating with versioning and locking, bid requests, a cost catalog preloaded with CSI and NAHB codes, and proposals. Estimates link to purchase orders and budgets, so the numbers carry through the job.
For delivery, it offers scheduling in Gantt, list and calendar views, change orders, selections, and daily logs on higher plans. Financial tools cover budgeting, client invoices, purchase orders and AI bill scanning, with two-way sync to QuickBooks and Xero. Clients and subcontractors get their own portals, and subs, vendors and field workers do not count as paid users.
