What CostOS does
CostOS uses a database-driven, Excel-like environment where multiple estimators can work on the same estimate with role-based permissions. It offers parametric assemblies, custom work breakdown structures and indirect cost rules, bidding and quote management, dashboards and an API, and it can use cost databases such as RSMeans, Spon's and BCIS.
Optional modules add 2D takeoff, GIS takeoff and BIM: CostOS reads IFC and native models from Revit, Archicad and Bentley, measures quantities from model data and links elements to activities for 4D and 5D estimating. CostOS Integrator connects estimates to ERP and scheduling systems such as Primavera, and the software can be deployed in the cloud or on premises.
