DESTINI Estimator

Preconstruction estimating for commercial contractors, with linked 2D/3D takeoff, cost history and bid leveling.

01

Overview

DESTINI Estimator is preconstruction estimating software from Beck Technology that lets commercial general contractors build detailed and conceptual estimates from assemblies, linked takeoff and their own cost history.

Best for: Commercial general contractors with dedicated preconstruction teams.

02

What DESTINI Estimator does

DESTINI Estimator builds estimates from assemblies covering labor, material, equipment, fees and markups, with takeoff quantities linked directly to estimate line items. Teams keep a central cost history for benchmarking, track alternates, view estimates in formats such as CSI and Uniformat, and use BIM model data alongside 2D drawings. Multi-user collaboration, permissions and audit trails support larger preconstruction departments.

In June 2026 Beck Technology made DESTINI Cloud generally available, bringing estimating, 2D and 3D takeoff, drawing management, DESTINI Bid Day bid leveling and Power BI analytics onto one cloud platform with an open API. AI-assisted takeoff comes from Beck's 2025 acquisition of Workpack.ai, and integrations include Autodesk, Procore, Join, Power BI and Excel. DESTINI Estimator is available cloud-native or on-premises.

Beck Technology was founded in 1996 and is based in Dallas, Texas. It says it serves more than 300 customers, including 37 of ENR's Top 100 contractors. Pricing is quote-based, and subscriptions include implementation, data migration support and training, with typical onboarding of six to ten weeks.
