What Projectmates does

Projectmates gives owner organizations one place to run their capital program. It covers document and drawing management with markups and revision history, cost management for budgets, bids, contracts, change orders, pay applications and invoices, and workflow automation for RFIs, submittals, daily field reports and punch lists. Schedule tracking and capital project planning work across multiple projects and programs.

The platform includes more than 100 pre-built reports plus drag-and-drop custom reporting, custom apps and forms, bid management, asset planning and risk management. A native mobile app supports field markups and item updates. The vendor offers consulting, implementation, training and third-party integration services, and serves government, healthcare, higher education, K-12, retail and real estate owners.

Projectmates has been developed since 1997 by Systemates, Inc., based in the Dallas area (Richardson, Texas). Hexagon AB acquired it in January 2023, and it moved into Octave Intelligence plc when Hexagon spun off that business, which began trading on Nasdaq in May 2026. Pricing is not published and is quoted on request; the vendor offers a free trial.
