What OpenProject does
OpenProject combines work packages, Gantt charts, agile Scrum and Kanban boards, a team planner, time and cost reporting, meeting management, wikis and custom workflows. It supports methods such as PRINCE2, PM² and SAFe and includes a Jira migrator. For construction, OpenProject offers a BIM solution with BCF issue management and an IFC model viewer, aimed at planners, engineers and contractors coordinating design and delivery.
The free Community edition is self-managed, while the Enterprise edition is available on-premises or as a cloud service hosted on EU servers, with German hosting on request. Integrations include Nextcloud, OneDrive and SharePoint, GitHub, GitLab, XWiki and openDesk.
OpenProject is developed by OpenProject GmbH in Berlin. Enterprise plans are priced per user per month: Basic at €5.95, Professional at €10.95 and Premium at €15.95, with 25- or 100-user minimums and Corporate pricing on request; subscriptions run for at least a year. Both cloud and on-premises versions have a 14-day free trial.
